Work Hard, Fun Hard: DiStefano Brothers Quarterly Meeting, (Q2, 2024)

DiStefano Brothers Companies (DBC) hosts a unique quarterly event that goes beyond a typical meeting; this all-hands get-together fosters a spirit of celebration, collaboration, and friendly competition.

This year’s Q2 event was unforgettable! We started with a company-wide meeting at the DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings HQ in North Kingstown, welcoming the fantastic new team from Inspired Closets, Rhode Island, DBC’s latest venture.

The leadership team, led by Peter DiStefano, demonstrated an exceptional level of transparency at the event. They openly shared sales figures, production details, and even profitability, creating a truly open forum where no question was off-limits. The most touching moment? Four employees bravely stepped forward and shared what makes them love being part of the DiStefano Brothers family.

After the company-wide meeting, the energy was palpable, and the enthusiasm was high! We divided into smaller teams to brainstorm on everything from client engagement strategies to continuous improvement initiatives. At lunchtime, we headed to the Matunuck Community Center in South Kingstown for an awesome cookout.

After lunch, there was a special guest appearance! Ron Dorf, CEO of Penntek Industrial Coatings (DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings is a Penntek dealer), joined the event to share his industry expertise. He offered valuable insights on the key factors that drive business success (and those that lead to failure), providing a unique perspective that complemented DBC’s proven business model.
