Polishing concrete is more like refinishing a wood table than painting a wall—you are working with a natural, existing canvas.

Slab Consistency: Every pour is different. One area might have more rocks (aggregate) than another, leading to “clumping” or “bald spots” in the pattern.

Cracks and Patches: Concrete is prone to cracking. We can fill them, but those repairs will always be visible.

Stains and Contaminants: If the slab previously had carpet, tile, or oil spills, those “ghost” marks often remain visible even after grinding.
