What is “Thermal Shock” resistance?
This is the “superpower” of urethane cement. Standard epoxy expands and contracts at a different rate than the concrete underneath it. If you pour boiling water on an epoxy floor, it may crack or “pop” off the slab. Urethane cement has a linear coefficient of thermal expansion similar to concrete. This means it moves with the slab, making it the gold standard for commercial kitchens, breweries, and food processing plants.
