Floors With Too Much Moisture?

Absolutely, but is does require an additional step  – the addition of a moisture barrier – see below:

STEP 1

During our initial consultation we check all floors for moisture content.

STEP 2

After conducting a moisture test on this garage concrete floor, we determined that it had too much moisture to permit a coating to be applied. All floors are tested for moisture, and if the floor is outside of the moisture specification, we will apply a moisture barrier in order to ensure perfect bond between the coating and the floor. If this is required, it will add one day to the project.

STEP 3

Prior to applying the polyspartic polyurea floor coating, we patch surface damage and apply a moisture barrier. After the barrier has set, we use a grinder to prepare the surface for application of the coating.
